Wendy’s Has an All-New Frosty Just in Time for Summer

As so many parts of the country are starting to heat up, it’s only natural that we’d be thinking about ways to cool off this summer. And what better way to wash down a meal than with a creamy Wendy’s Frosty?

Enjoying that sweet mixture of soft serve ice cream and milkshake—and maybe dipping a fry or two into it—is one of our favorite summer memories. And even though those memories always included a vanilla or chocolate Frosty, Wendy’s has been stepping up its game recently with new Frosty flavors.

It started when Wendy’s released the Strawberry Frosty for summer 2022, and, since then, the Wendy’s culinary team hasn’t stopped dreaming up new Frosty flavors. We’ve seen the Pumpkin Spice Frosty, Peppermint Frosty, and, most recently, Orange Dreamsicle Frosty.

Now, the fast-food chain has announced it’s introducing the “juiciest” Frosty flavor yet. Despite the Strawberry Frosty dominating summertime for the past two years, Wendy’s is making a new berry-flavored Frosty for summer 2024.

Wendy’s New Triple Berry Frosty

Beginning the week of June 10, Wendy’s will serve an all-new Triple Berry Frosty for a limited time.

The purple-hued treat is a mixture of strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry flavors—meaning you Strawberry Frosty lovers won’t be missing out completely.

“Available nationwide beginning next week for a limited time, Triple Berry Frosty is the juiciest flavor to join Wendy’s iconic Frosty lineup yet. Triple Berry Frosty combines three of the freshest fruit flavors of the season – strawberry, blackberry, and raspberry – into one sweet summer treat,” a Wendy’s spokesperson said in a statement to Allrecipes.

We hope the new Frosty will taste like those berry frozen yogurt parfaits at Sam’s Club. If so, they’ll be the perfect combination of sweet, tart, and fresh in every bite.

It’s no surprise that Wendy’s is releasing a new refreshing treat after its new Saucy Nuggs. The sauced-up chicken nuggets are available in a few spicy flavors, so cutting the spice with a frozen dessert is only fitting.

The new Triple Berry Frosty will replace the Orange Dreamsicle Frosty on the menu for the summer. Unfortunately, that does mean the Vanilla Frosty will remain unavailable as many of these seasonal flavors use the Vanilla Frosty as a base—and most Wendy’s restaurants only have two Frosty machines.

Don’t worry, though, Wendy’s has assured vanilla fans that the flavor will return in 2024, so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for that announcement. We get it, our fries have been missing that Vanilla Frosty, too, but berry-flavored fries don’t sound too bad, right?
